convenient location public transportation room balcony
The location was convenient. Public transportation was easily accessible (I actually preferred walking, though). My room featured a balcony, a nice addition (especially when enjoying my morning coffee).
The stairs are steep. Luggage can be challenging to carry up and down without a lift.

the location feel very special and its close proximity to the amstel river. it was also quite easy walk to many major attractions, it's a journey you will take in your hearth. the host, focco, show a true passion for the house and also he show passion for the history of the area.
the stairs were very steep and narrow, it may present a challenge for those with mobility issues. i also noted a small refurbishment work happened next door, this make noise during the morning. the room, while depicted nicely in photos, felt a bit aged in person.
